Mr. William F. Dorn
William F. Dorn, 69, a resident of 122 Wellington Drive, Washington, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7, 2008 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Hillside Funeral Service with Rev. Douglas Ort officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Sunday, July 6, 2008 at Hillside Funeral Service.
Mr. Dorn was born September 22, 1938 in Norristown, PA. He was the son of the late William Dorn and Miriam Hammond Dorn. On May 23, 1959, he married the former Frances Glick, who survives. He was a graduate of Oxford Area High School in Oxford, PA and received his BA degree from Atlantic Union College, South Lancaster, MA in 1966. He was self-employed in Forestry Service. Mr. Dorn had been a resident of Beaufort County for approximately 7 years and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Frances G. Dorn; his children, Rhonda Willumson of Ooltewah, TN, Anita Murray of Templeton, MA, and Billy Dorn of Washington; one sister, Linda Dorn Whittington of Honeybrook, PA; and six grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be directed to: Alzheimer Association, Eastern NC Chapter, 400 Oberlin Road, Raleigh, NC 27605.
