Mrs. Valerie Cordon Scott
Valerie Cordon Scott, 71, originally of Bath, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Myrtle and Thad Cordon of the Burbage Crossroads Community.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 5, 2008 at St. Clair’s Church of Christ, Bath with Craig Hagen officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Hillside Funeral Service. A visitation will also be held from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Friday, June 6, 2008 in the Kempsville Chapel of Smith and Williams Funeral Home in Virginia Beach, VA. Valerie is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bryant W. Scott; son Todd S. Scott of Virginia Beach; and three sisters, Betty C. Barber and Maggie C. Credle both of Bath and Faye C. Allen of Winona.
