Mr. Stephen Peter Chevalier, Jr., 72, of 350 Freshwater Drive, Blounts Creek, died Thursday, April 3, 2008 at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, April 7, 2008 at Mother of Mercy Catholic Church with Father M. Arturo Cabra officiating.
Mr. Chevalier was born May 8, 1935 in Ware, MA. He was the son of the late Stephen Peter Chevalier, Sr. and Anne Ferenz Chevalier. He was a veteran of the US Army and a retired computer engineer with Union Carbide. On January 2, 1960, he married the former Pat Autry.
Mr. Chevalier was a former resident of Southern California and had been a resident of Beaufort County for 8 ½ years.
Survivors include his wife, Pat A. Chevalier; two daughters, Michelle Marie Beninati of Huntington Beach, CA and Monique Anne Chevalier of Cota de Caza, CA; two sons, Armand Lawrence Chevalier of Anaheim, CA and Christian Paul Chevalier of Sacramento, CA; one sister, Beverly Torpy of Ormond Beach, FL, and four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to: Mother of Mercy Catholic Church Building Fund, 112 West 9th Street, Washington, NC 27889.
