Mrs. Marguerite A. Spain
Mrs. Marguerite A. Spain, 84, of 250 Lover’s Lane and formerly of Route 4, Box 143, Washington, died Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at Britthaven of Washington.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 14, 2007 at Pamlico Memorial Gardens with Mike Huppmann officiating.
Mrs. Spain was born May 11, 1923 in Beaufort County. She was the daughter of the late Eddie F. Alligood and Sudie Cayton Alligood. On February 20, 1945 she married Luther L. Spain, Jr., who preceded her in death on May 4, 1988. She was employed with 27 years of service at Hospital Pharmacy and was a member of Asbury Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, Jimmy R. Spain of Washington and one sister, Elouise Crandall of Robersonville.
