Mr. JR Bunting JR Bunting, age 59, a resident of 1713 Camp Leach Road, Washington, N. C., died Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at his home. Mr. Bunting was born in Beaufort County on June 27, 1948. He was the son of Margaret Beacham Dudley and the late Gary Bunting. He graduated from Washington High School. Mr. Bunting worked in construction and he greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was the smiling face you saw at Mitchells Upholstery and Cahoots Feeds.
Mr. Bunting is survived by his mother, Margaret Dudley of Washington; three brothers, Bernice Bunting and his wife Mary of Greenville, N. C., Bruce (Red) Bunting of Washington, N. C., and Willie Beacham of Pinetown, N. C.; five sisters, Mavis B. Carwile and husband Warren of Richmond, Va., Jean Bunting Stinson and husband Presley of Middlesex, N. C., Linda Bunting Squires and husband Frederick of Bath, N.C., Sandy Bunting Silverthorne and husband Turner of Washington, N. C., and Joyce B. Tetterton and husband George of Pinetown, N. C.; 15 nieces and nephews, and 16 great-nieces and nephews, and his companion Missy. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Marsha Manning. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 8:30 P. M., Friday, November 9, 2007 at Hillside Funeral Service of Washington and a graveside service will be held at Oakdale Cemetery Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 2:00 P. M. with Jim Reid Officiating. Pallbearers will be Condilaro Lineras, Bruce Bunting, Johnny Martin, Mitchell Cutler, Phil Garris, and Kenny Hardy.
The family would like to thank AseraCare Hospice of Greenville and Dr. Nall for all they did for JR during his sickness.
