Mr. Pressley “Jack” Stinson, Jr.
Pressley “Jack” Stinson, Jr., 55, of 6601 Harpy Drive, Zebulon, NC and formerly of Washington, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 11, 2008.
Jack was born February 16, 1953 in Christian County, KY. He was the son of the late Pressley Jack Stinson, Sr. and Jewel Naomi Wilkins Stinson. Jack was a graduate of Washington High School. On December 1, 1971, he married the former Jean Bunting, who survives. He was a devoted son, brother, husband, father and grandfather.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, Friday, March 14, 2008 at Hillside Funeral Service and other times at the home of his mother-in-law, Margaret Beacham Dudley, 121 East 7th Street, Washington.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jean Bunting Stinson; a daughter, Sharon Stinson Elks and husband, Billy of Greenville; a son, Pressley Jack “Bubba” Stinson, III of the home, and three grandchildren, Marsha Mayo, Katherine Mayo, and Sarah Elks, all of Greenville. He is also survived by a sister, Jewel Sutton and husband, T.J. of Las Vegas, Nevada.
