Mr. Gregory “Greg” Frank Zablocki
Mr. Gregory Frank “Greg” Zablocki, 59, of Point Pleasant, New Jersey, died on Sunday, March 31, 2008, at the Leo Jenkins Cancer Center in Greenville, North Carolina.
Greg was born in New Brunswick, NJ, April 18, 1948, to Samuel and Victoria Zablocki. He graduated from South Plainfield High School in 1966, attended Louisiana State University, and served in the National Guard. Greg was a skilled carpenter, and was the construction supervisor for WJM Custom Homes in the Sea Girt, Spring Lake and Manasquan areas. Previously he worked as a teaching golf professional at northern New Jersey country clubs and as a bartender in Point Pleasant Beach. Greg loved the challenges of his work, and fishing off Jersey, and the Florida Keys.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Mickie Zablocki of Washington, NC, a niece, Alisa Brewer of Amherst, MA, a nephew, Shawn Underwood of Washington, NC, and seven grand nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held with family and friends at a later date.
Memorial contributions to local American Cancer Society Chapters will help others battling the disease.
