Mrs. Gloria Ambrose Fleming
Mrs. Gloria Ambrose Fleming, 75, of 193 Doe Run, Washington, died Sunday, November 30, 2008 at University Health Systems Inpatient Hospice in Greenville.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 6, 2008 in the chapel of Hillside Funeral Service with Mike Huppmann officiating.
Mrs. Fleming was born July 23, 1933 in Prince Georges County, Maryland. She was daughter of the late Ervin Bonner and Mabel Taylor Ambrose. She was married to Donald P. Fleming, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Fleming was a retired loan officer in the banking industry. She attended Athens Chapel Church of Christ.
Survivors include her son, Donald P. Fleming, Jr. of Bath; her daughter, Susan F. Knox of Washington; one brother, Ervin B. Ambrose, Jr. of VA; four sisters, Jean Woods of VA, Winnie Duncan, Gay Dailey, and Kathy Mahoney, all of Maryland; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Joan Rodman; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to the service time at Hillside Funeral Service.
