Mr. Clarence Aubrey Walker
Mr. Clarence Aubrey Walker, 79, of 120 Forecastle Court, Washington died Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
A service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 19, 2008 in the chapel of Hillside Funeral Service with Jay Marle, Patrick Kennedy and Jeff Jakub officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, Monday, August 18, 2008 at Hillside Funeral Service and other times at the home.
Mr. Walker was born April 5, 1929 in Danville, VA. He was the son of the late Robert Jefferson Walker and Ida Mae Dixon Walker. Mr. Walker was a retired insurance salesman and was retired from the US Navy. On July 1, 1950, he married Mary Jean Hancock. He had been a resident of Beaufort County for 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jean Walker; his daughter, Donna Riendeau and husband, Paul of Raynham, Mass.; his son, Jeff Walker and wife, Jamie of Farmville, NC; one sister, Jean Fowler of Garner, NC; five grandchildren, Beth Riendeau, Amy Riendeau, Roger Walker and wife, Soni, Paige Haverty, and Landon Walker; and two great-grandchildren, Reese Walker and Cara Walker.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth Lamb, Ruby Walker and Gladys Swenson; and two brothers, Ralph Walker and James Walker.
