                         Mrs. Ann Marie Tew Stowasser

    Mrs. Ann Marie Tew Stowasser, 60, of 115 Wellington Drive, Washington, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at her home.

    A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 18, 2008, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Danny Allen officiating.  Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. John Gunnels, Butch Weston, Kevin Mills, Will Page, Rick Howdy, Rick Moore, Tom Willey and Robert Williams will serve as pallbearers.

    The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Hillside Funeral Service and other times at the home.

    Mrs. Stowasser was born February 3, 1948 in Dunn, NC.  She was the daughter of the late George Riley Tew and Margaret Ella Reaves Tew.  She was a graduate of Williamston High School, Beaufort County Community College and Pitt Community College.  On December 18, 1988, she married William F. Stowasser.  She was a retired public health administrator.  She had been a resident of Beaufort County for 34 years.

    She is survived by her husband, William F. Stowasser; two sons, Joseph Wayne Rodgerson, Jr., and Riley Paul Rodgerson, both of Goldsboro; two sisters, Jo Ann Tew Winn of Chocowinity, and Kathy Tew Williams of Beaverdam, VA; and one grandchild, Daniel Donovan Rodgerson.

    Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions may be directed to: The Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center, 1209 Brown Street, Washington, NC 27889.
