Mrs. Allie Rae Boyd Respass
Mrs. Allie Rae Boyd Respass, of 11323 Highway 32 South, Plymouth, went to be with her Lord on Saturday morning, March 22, 2008 at her home. She was 80 years young.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 24, 2008 at Long Acre Chapel Christian Church with Thelbert Leggett officiating. Burial will follow in the Respass Family Cemetery in the Long Acre Community at the home site. Jesse W. Respass, Matt E. Respass, Brian Harrison, Rex Harrison, Dennis Respass, Jr., and Charlie Pippin will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, Sunday, March 23, 2008 at Hillside Funeral Service, 4500 Highway 264 East, Washington.
Mrs. Respass was born September 21, 1927 in Washington County. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence Lafayette Boyd and Lillian Sykes Boyd. On June 9, 1945 she married Harry W. Respass, who preceded her in death in 1991. Mrs. Respass was a homemaker and a member of Long Acre Chapel Christian Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Donnie Hardison and husband, Philip of Pantego, and Ann Harrison and husband, Clayton of Plymouth; two sons, Dennis Respass and wife, Tiffanie of Plymouth, and “Ronnie” Ronald Lee Respass and wife, Lynda of Plymouth; four sisters, Margie Ann Hagy and husband, Dick of Pinetown, Gloria Franklin and husband, Forrest of Hillsborough, Mary Lou Harris and husband, T.L. of Pantego, and Janie Norman and husband, Paul of Washington; two brothers, James Russell Boyd and wife, Phyllis of Washington, and Kenneth Boyd and wife, Linda of Washington; one brother-in-law, Linwood Earl Respass and wife, Mary; nine grandchildren, Jesse W. Respass and wife, Jackie, Matt E. Respass, Jackie R. Watson and husband, Kenny, Genesis Hardison, Marilyn Foreman and husband, Danny, , Rex Harrison and wife, Darlene, Brian Harrison and wife, Karen, Crystal Pippin and husband, Charlie and Dennis Respass, Jr. “DJ”; and seven great-grandchildren..
